I use a variation of a square stitch, this pattern is done in this style. The stitch I use is quicker and softer than Peyote or Brick stitch. The difference is that with Peyote and Brick stitch the beads are added one at a time and stacked like bricks, as the stitch implies. With my square stitch the beads are added four at a time and are stacked like loom work, one directly on top of the other. The square stitch I use is different and is also called an off loom stitch.

I bought the pattern and kit for this product and I loved it! It took awhile for me to finish this necklace, because I would work on it a few hours each day rather continuously, but it was fun, and the finished product is well worth it. I had originally planned to give this as a mother's day gift but the necklace was too small for her neck, so I have decided to make her something else. Anywho, the pattern instructions are very clear, and I found that attaching the snap was relatively easy, which I worried about for I have never used a snap in other projects. Great product and the results are better than expected.
