I use a variation of a square stitch, the Eagle pattern is done in this style. The stitch I use is quicker and softer than Peyote or Brick stitch. The difference is that with Peyote and Brick stitch the beads are added one at a time and stacked like bricks, as the stitch implies. With my square stitch the beads are added four at a time and are stacked like loom work, one directly on top of the other. The square stitch I use is different and is also called an off loom stitch.

This 3D Beaded Eagle Pattern has been such a success for me! It is easy to read and bead the pattern as it is so detailed. I have now been asked to customize this Eagle for someone in a Patriotic manner. When it is completed I will submit it to Beaded Patterns in hopes that they can share it with other :-) Thank you for your wonderful patterns and your incredible creativity! Wonderful Pattern! I created it and then displayed it at the 2011 American Music Awards Gift Lounge and it got rave reviews and Christian Serratos who played Emily in the Twilight Movie had her picture taken with it, Thank you Dragon. The picture can be seen at www.facebook.com/uniquebeadedgifts. My next project is the Blue Jay :-)
